Gettysburg Stage

Founded in 2003 with assistance from the Adams County Arts Council, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit, regional theatre company. The founder was Stephen Wilcoxson, who was our artistic director for the first three years. We named our performance space, when we were at Keefauver Center, after him, The Stephen Wilcoxson Theatre.

Our board, actors, stage helpers and others are all volunteers drawn from a talented regional community.

Yes, you are welcome to attend productions, regardless of religion, national origin, sexual orientation, political leanings or preference for a particular brand of potato chip (did we mention there are several excellent potato chip manufacturers in our region?).

We love theatre. We enjoy the fun of producing timely, relevant drama, comedy and social commentaries. Some people call them plays. We consider them views on real life. Come and see us!
